In the case of automatic or process cranes with four degrees of freedom the carriage is equipped with an additional rotating mechanism. This variant enables long articles to be manipulated flexibly when space is restricted, or within a specified space.
The travel paths, span widths and movement speeds of the crane gantry, carriage and lifting mechanism of the process cranes are determined by H+H having regard to the material flow plan and the performance requirements derived from it.
