H+H gains a new customer from the food trade

Contract announcement, April 2015. The food retailer “tegut… gute Lebensmittel GmbH & Co. KG” in Fulda, which serves around 280 markets, employs almost 5,200 people and achieved a net turnover of 970 million euros in 2014, is one of the largest in the branch. With a turnover proportion of 25 percent bio-products, the company holds a leading position in the market  compared with other full-range suppliers. Now that a comprehensive modernisation of the central goods-reception facility has become necessary, the company has chosen H+H Herrmann + Hieber as its partner.

H+H renovates pallet transport after almost 20 years of operation

Contract announcement, December 2014. esco – European Salt Company GmbH & Co. KG –, a company of the K+S group registered in Hannover, commissioned H+H to carry out a comprehensive retrofit of the dispatch internal logistics at its Bernburg plant. In the transport equipment installed in the first half of the 1990s wear-affected and moving parts were changed and in some cases replaced with variants of improved design. The work was carried out without interfering with on-going operations.

Ensinger extends its fully automatic material transport system

Contract announcement, August 2014. In 2013 the plastics processor Ensinger GmbH completed an extensive investment project at its parent plant in Nufringen, in which the production facilities were enlarged, a new warehouse for extruded semis (sections, rods, plates, etc.) was built and a fully automatic material transport system was installed. H+H Herrmann + Hieber was commissioned to automate the complete flow of goods system.

Aluminium Laufen with a new press and automated internal logistics system

August 2014. The extrusion plant of Aluminium Laufen AG relies upon an automated material transport system. With the commissioning of a new 35 MN press line the internal logistics throughout the extrusion plant had to be adapted to the new situation. This important part of the investment project, for which H+H Herrmann + Hieber took responsibility, has now begun operating.

EHEIM begins operating a new material transport system at its plant in Deizisau

July 2014. When EHEIM, a leading supplier in the field of aquaristics, enlarged its production facility in the plant at Deizisau, H+H Herrmann + Hieber was commissioned to automate the in-house material flow. The new transport equipment came into operation successfully and on schedule.

Contract announcement, June 2014. Following the successful commissioning of a newly developed, highly flexible stacking unit for heavy steel sections, GMH Mannstaedt GmbH in Troisdorf, near Cologne, has ordered a second such unit from H+H Herrmann + Hieber.

SHW Automotive begins operating the logistics automation system installed by H+H

Start-up in February 2014. Since 2005 H+H Herrmann + Hieber has supplied and installed a variety of equipment at the Tuttlingen plant of Schwäbischen Hüttenwerke (SHW Automotive GmbH) for the automatic transport of materials for brake disc production. In October last year H+H was awarded the contract to automate the transport for a newly installed machining unit.

For the transport of bulk goods in Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs), H+H Herrmann + Hieber developed and supplied a fully automatic transport and metering system which includes a three-axis automatic crane as its central component.
