Contract announcement, May 2017. The food retailer “tegut… gute Lebensmittel GmbH & Co. KG” in Fulda is continuing the collaboration with H+H which began in 2015. The next step is now to revitalise the central goods reception warehouse in Fulda.
The central warehouse in Fulda supplies a large proportion of the tegut… markets with more than 23,000 products. To ensure trouble-free and steady operation, in 2015 tegut… with the help of H+H completely renewed the goods reception system of the central warehouse, including both the mechanical and the electrical equipment. As the next step, the reliable functioning of the system as a whole is to be permanently ensured by consistently planned maintenance and servicing.
The project is a perfect example of the successful collaboration between the experienced and flexible logistics specialist: in a joint inspection visit at the plant, first of all those weak points were identified which need renewal. This could be for various reasons: wear, outdated technology, the lack of spare parts, etc. To eliminate such weaknesses H+H worked proposed solutions, which were discussed with the customer and finally ordered in May 2017.
The performance of the work is planned in such a way that warehouse operation can be continued practically without interference. For the work a time slot of one working week plus three weekends is scheduled, during which five H+H staff members will be on site. The highly specialised technical personnel of the experienced logistics specialist H+H offer the customer the guarantee that the objective of trouble-free operating sequences will actually be achieved.
