For many reasons such work is difficult to carry out. First of all, the customer wants to minimise or even completely avoid operational interruptions. The layout sometimes makes it necessary to re-plan the material flow. When equipment manufactured by other makers is involved, a fundamental familiarisation process is inescapable.
